In June of 2007, The Junior League of Tucson, Inc. adopted a new focus area:  Support and Advocacy for Tucson's Independent Seniors.  Through this focus area, the JLT works towards

• Heightening public awareness and advocating for increasing resources available for seniors who are living independently
• Direct support for independent seniors
• Forming partnerships within the community to impact the lives of seniors living independently
